Meet a new member of the family...

Shelly and Lucky had a baby! This is "Sweet Pea!"
She's a baby girl and maybe about a week old... we think. She's so cute!
Sweet Pea is doing great. She's exactly like her mom... outgoing, curious and eats like a pig. She loves her dad, Lucky and is by his side.
This is the first time we ever had a baby turtle here. Welcome to the family little Pea!

Mama Robin and babies

This is Mama Robin. She has made a safe home nest in our apple tree.
Just recently the eggs hatched and she has three sweet and very hungry babies.
Brian and I watch over all of them to make sure they are doing good.

Question...

Question... what do you do when you are in the middle of a tornado warning?

Answer... Buy chicks, of course.

Don't do this for real but this is what Brian did! We now have five more baby chicks bringing the Seehafer Farm chicken total up to 13! Holy smoke! We really need a farm. They are Buff Brahmas and they are now three to four days old. We have four girls and one boy... he's the one with a red ink mark on his head. Brian named him "Bomber" after "B-52 Bomber" and we've also named one of the girls, BeBe (for Baby, she is the littlest one of the bunch.) We're still trying to figure out three more names. If anyone has suggestions, leave a comment or email us!

First Purchased Flowers for 2012

We love the way Violas smell.

Signs of Spring

Crocuses by the mailbox is always a sign for me that spring is on her way! I'm so happy to see them.

P.S. Bernard is actally Bernadette... again. She just shows her brother that she can crow too. Go girl power!

AN EPISODE FROM...

On a Sunday morning like this, when it's snowing/raining...

Angel asks himself, "what do you do?"

Watch TV or...

watch William?

Not sure which is more entertaining.

Oh, by the way, Bernadette is a BERNARD (Bernie)... he started crowing about two weeks ago. We have two roosters. That makes four roosters here at the farm.

Four Letters... D I E T

"Does this chair make me look fat?"

Since William is now an inside cat, he's gained a little... little, yeah, right.

Who doesn't have chickens on their heads?!?!?!

The "kids" like to watch television with us... Brian's head the best place to see the tv!

Oh, by the way, Alvin crowed for the first time on Friday morning!! They grow up so fast.

Introducing Alvin and Bernadette

We have two heath little baby chicks. Alvin, he's the black and yellow/white one and the other, Bernadette, Bernie for short. Sadly, Sally passed away a couple days after hatching.

We brought them in to keep a good eye on them. We also brought Jasmine in to get her healthy again. Birthing babies can take a lot out of a woman... I mean hen.
They are so cute... when they are sleeping! They are like little bottled up of energy fuzz balls.

These pictures were taken of them last week. I'll get new pictures of Alvin and Bernie this week.

Christmas Helpers

Forgot to post this at Christmas time...

William Jake and Mama working on making sure the white lights were working for our Christmas tree.

Yeah, really hard at work... at least for a cat.

How cold is it?...

Let's take a look and see what lives between the pillows when the temperature outside dips down into the 20's...
It's a small gray cat named Josie...

Sweet dreams little one.
