The Pumpkin Chronicles

On Sunday, Brian made the pumpkin (the one on the main vine) an extra sun shade for protection. It's out of PVC pipe and a twin white sheet for the cover... pretty smart!

She's still has good air ventilation, that's very important AND is protected from the hot sun.

The pumpkin is growing bigger every day.

Brian has decided to leave at least one of the other pumpkins on the secondary vine. That one is also doing great. It's protected by the big sun shade.

There is sand under each pumpkin to prevent slugs from eating away at them when they're little... slugs hate sand!
