Here's our grumpy Lopped Earred Rabbit, Trigger. He is eight years old and a very wise bunny. Trigger's best buddy is William Jake (who isn't?!?!)

Trigger's favorite food is sliced apples, fresh carrots, green leaf lettuce, red strawberries and occasionally collard greens...he's from the south, of course! His favorite vet is Dr. Nicole at VetMed Animal Health Clinic... we all love them over there!

He loves to be brushed and...loved on... sometimes... reminds of a cat I know...not naming names... MAMA CAT!!

Work on the Roost

I am a worried "chicken" mother, so I worked on the roost this past weekend so I could keep an eye on Dorothy.


Ordered some decals from ETSY.com. They usually go on windows but I think they turned out pretty cute. I put a coat of polyurethane on top of the decals for protection.

The roost is getting there but it's still not done yet.

The Wonderful Thing About Pets...

This past weekend, we moved Dorothy back with your sisters. She's doing very well and her leg has healed up! Right now she's trying to get back into the flock. Some "pecking order" has to be rearranged. That makes me sad to see her being pecked on but she does it right back. I tell Dorothy that she needs to hold her own with her sisters!

Everyone is getting bigger and bigger. Oh, wait, what's this....

Brian and I have discovered that Pearl Bailey and Sophia are really.... Peanut Butter and Sammy. THEY'RE BOYS! WE HAVE ROOSTERS!!

And yes, we have found them a new home. In a couple of weeks, they will be relocated to a wonderful farm with lots of room to roam and plenty of hens to protect. We'll still have Dorothy, Blanche, Rose and Pumpkin. Let's hope they're still girls!

Lebanon's Farmers Market

After my exciting adventure in Cuz's Antiques, I headed over to the Farmer's Market off the square.


EVERYTHING looked so good!! And the colors of all the vegetable were just eye catching, I had to get myself some fresh okra!
